When the partners Mike, Barry, & Megan of Someday Bar decided to lay down roots in Brooklyn’s Boerum Hill neighborhood, they knew they needed to do some neighborhood “research.” They wanted to see what the neighborhood was in need of and how they could contribute to the restaurant and bar scene.
They decided on a nice neighborhood bar with a great beer list, solid cocktails and global drinking food with a little edge. After a lengthy bar crawl the discussion of the name came up.
The two boys had multiple ventures but it was Megan’s first. They decided to look at Megan’s list of bar names that she had been thinking of the last 10 years since her move from Florida to New York. After much teasing they decided that the title of Megan’s list was the actual winner. The name of the list was My Someday Bar. Thus Someday Bar was created.
